Boundaries:
Why boundaries? Because the more your teen feels comfortable doing, the less likely he or she will be able to stop progressing the next time. This applies to substance use, sexual activity or any other high-risk behavior.

Help your teen set specific goals of what they will not compromise on. This may mean setting definite physical boundaries or limits on social situations that could lead to peer pressure or compromise.

Help your teen to know how to respond to pressure. Help them to understand the misleading culture that they are growing up in.
